Pennsylvania Gun Rights (PAGR) held a press conference alongside pro-gun legislators, allied organizations, and numerous pro-gun activists to shine a spotlight on Rep. Frank Burns and his continued opposition to protecting the Second Amendment rights of Pennsylvanians.
Notably, speaking before reporters and grassroots activists, PAGR laid out the facts. Burns cast the deciding vote against Constitutional Carry – simple legislation that would restore and protect gun rights without needing to beg the government for permission.
Instead, Burns sided with Philadelphia political insiders over the people he supposedly represents.

Ultimately, it was made clear that Pennsylvanians deserve leaders who will defend liberty, not undermine it.
Finally, the message emphasized was that the right to keep and bear arms is a cornerstone freedom, and that elected officials who oppose it are out of step with their constituents.
PAGR Summer of Accountability
In tandem with the press conference, PAGR has highlighted its successful Summer of Accountability, featuring a district-wide billboard campaign that exposed Burns’ betrayal of gun owners all summer.

PAGR’s billboards highlight Burns’ record in plain language, ensuring voters across the region understand where he stands. The message is unavoidable on major roadways: accountability was overdue and has arrived.
The billboard campaign was one of several items of PAGR’s grassroots blitz exposing Burns through every means necessary, including emails to his constituents, text messages, social media, and a hard-hitting press campaign.
Ultimately, Pennsylvania Gun Rights will continue to call attention to the record of Frank Burns and his attempts to lie to gun owners to save his own political career until Pennsylvania becomes the next state to enact Constitutional Carry.
